Hana

Hana's TAF pattern was inspired by some Japanese Origami paper. It was meticulously hand-painted with acrylic paints using a toothpick, needletip and a number 0 synthetic brush. Her eyes have also been completely re-painted, and I was very happy with how they have turned out! I think these are my best pony eyes to date :) There is a touch of gold glitter on her brow, just for that extra bit of glamour. Both the symbols and eyes have been sealed with a matte varnish. Instead of a small cutie mark on her magnet hoof, I have added a glass bead bracelet.

Hana originally started out as a Tulip Twinkle Cutie Cascade Pony. Her original body colour was too pink, so I dunked her in a hot bath of RIT purple dye for about 5 mins. Only half a teaspoon of dye was used, with enough hot water to submerge her. Hana has been rehaired with Restoredoll Katsilk hair in Azure Blue, and a bit of Plum Crazy in the tail.
