Baby Snow Crystal

Baby Snow crystal used to be a Shaggy, who had pen marks all over her, a gnawed ear and no cutie mark on her hip (only a few spots of her yellow teddy bear remained). Her damaged, bite-marked ear was carefully filed down to a smoother consistency. This was done VERY GENTLY with a dull nail file! It worked rather well :) Next, she was dumped into a hot bath of RIT dye. I used very little dye, about half a teaspoon of Royal Blue, and enough water just to immerse the entire pony. When she was dry, her symbols, freckles and eyes were painted on with acrylic paints, with a clear matte varnish to finish. Her cutie mark also features a tiny crystal star. Finally, she was rehaired with Katsilk hair in Platinum white. Overall she did not take long to create, about 1 evening's worth of work :)
